Express is actively recruiting for a Payroll Clerk *with a very busy Mill. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, experienced with payroll and have a high degree of confidentiality. This is a *temporary 3-6 month position with the potential to extend for the right candidate.

　　Pay rate: $22-$24/ hour DOE

　　Work Schedule: Monday- Friday with some flexibility within business hours.

　　ESSENTIAL DUTIES

　　Oversee the entire payroll system, verifying all timekeeping.Verify all clock in's and out's are entered accurately and make corrections as needed.Accept all time off requests and document accurately.Update job codes accurately as new employees are hired or current employees are moved.Partner with leadership and HR team on payroll questions or concerns.Input and maintain any pay rate changes, deductions, sick pay etc.Will work closely with HR department on payroll and any other needs that arise.* *

　　EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

　　Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience in HR a plus but not required.Must have previous experience in payroll and payroll systems.Individual must be professional and understand the need for confidentially in a Human Resource Department.Comfortable learning about a company.Must be highly detailed, organized, and thorough.
