The role involvestroubleshooting, determining root cause, developing and reviewingelectrical requirements, detailed specifications, and electrical circuitdesign/debug for complex automated test equipment. Our standard testequipment hardware solutions are National Instruments PXI, cRIO, FPGAand LabVIEW based along with custom designed electrical solutions.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills are critical to the role. Theelectrical engineer will help ensure that new and existing automatedtest sets meet the product test requirements. The sustaining testengineering team also offers the unique ability to learncross-functional aspect of test equipment design including mechanical,software, and systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot complex issues that may be software, hardware, system, orproduct related to determine root cause and corrective action
Design, analyze, and troubleshoot circuits
Develop and maintain test documentation, plans, procedures, and reports.
Write test requirements and detailed design documents.
Communicate technical issues through written, verbal and presentationmedia.
Support to operations to help ensure on-time delivery of product.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment where priorities change
Able to work both autonomously as well as part of a team
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering orMathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations andminimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in arelated field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of adegree, 9 years of relevant experience
Experience generating and presenting project status
Strong organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills
Hands-on Aerospace / Military hardware design, build, test andintegration experience (or in regulated manufacturing industry)
Previous professional experience Microsoft Office applications
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) oreligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Mentor Graphics (Dxdesigner/Expedition), SPICE orsimilar electrical simulation tools
Strong background in electrical troubleshooting
Able to function at a high level with multiple tasks and projects, andto effectively change direction based upon business needs
Exposure to various test systems, experience with various avionicsbusses, and experience with National Instrument PXI hardware are all aplus
