Position ResponsibilitiesOptimize database performance through several techniques includingindexing, query optimization and database design, among others. Workclosely with application development project teams to ensure optimalapplication performance. Participate in high availability / disasterrecovery tests of critical systems. Ensure databases and databaseobjects are properly backed up, and recovery procedures are tested anddocumented. Support databases / database applications as well as upgradeand patch database management systems. Minimum Requirements Bachelor\'sdegree in information technology or a related field. 8+ years ofexperience in the DB2-LUW Management System. Proficient in replicationtechnologies (e.g. CDC, Attunity) with basic understanding of datamodeling. Work independently to complete assignments and lead by exampleto guide and develop the database administration team.
