Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Data Scientist to join our team in San Francisco, California. The successful candidate will be part of the Merchant Growth Analytics team, handling data analysis requests, building dashboards, running A/B tests, and generating insights. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to independently troubleshoot and unblock oneself.

Responsibilities • Handle data analysis requests efficiently and accurately • Develop and maintain dashboards that provide insights into business performance • Run A/B tests and interpret their results to drive business decisions • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill data requirements • Translate ambiguous business requirements into clear data requests • Apply hypothesis-driven problem-solving skills to business challenges • Communicate effectively, synthesizing business insights from data for stakeholders • Build ETL pipelines for product data and consolidate data from multiple sources • Troubleshoot issues and take the initiative to resolve them Requirements • Candidate must possess at least a five-year detail oriented experience in the role of a Data Scientist with advanced SQL skills

• Proven track record in Algorithm Implementation

• Demonstrable skills in Analytics

• Candidate must have experience in Cluster Analysis

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

• Must have a problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
