We are hiring a data scientist with experience in data management and developing statistical techniques to analyze data and find patterns. As part of our team, you will be working side-by-side with high-impact engineers and strategic customers to solve complex problems. You will communicate trends and innovative solutions to stakeholders. You will work cross-functionally with several teams including crews, product teams, and program management to deploy business solutions. Your key responsibilities will be:
Drive data-science projects or teams to align with business needs and deliver value.
Drive data acquisition and understanding efforts for engineering projects using various tools and techniques.
Partner with PM, engineering, research and other data scientists to formulate data-driven answers to product, business and decision-making problems, applying a wide variety of analytical and modeling techniques
Develop and apply Machine Learning frameworks and best practices for scalable and ethical solutions.
Partner with PM, engineering, research and other data scientists to formulate data-driven answers to business and decision-making problems, applying a wide variety of analytical and modeling techniques
Review of data analysis and modelling techniques. Ensure selected modelling techniques are appropriate and align with desired project outcomes. Decides on next steps (e.g., deployment, further iterations, new projects).
Write and debugs code for complex projects and leads solution development.
Providesand presents insights and solutions by understanding the business, product, data, and customer perspective.
Responsibilities
MS/BS in CS/EE, mathematical or machine learning related disciplines, with 4+ years of experience.
Solid understanding of probability, statistics, machine learning, data science
A/B testing & analysis of ML models and optimizing models for accuracy.
Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or other distributed computing systems for large-scale training & prediction with ML models.
Experience implementing machine learning algorithms
Experience with deep learning models is a plus.
