  What You Will Do :

  The Sr. CPIC Project Consultant is responsible for providing expert-level CPIC, IT Portfolio, Program Management, and DoD Program Management Office (PMO) guidance, advisory, and support services to team members, and both executive and staff-level clients. This position is responsible for advising and assisting at the Senior level with the development of federal DoD and DAF CPIC and IT Portfolio Management/governance-related documentation and data call responses. The successful candidate will be able to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining high levels of professionalism and delivering high-quality work product deliverables. This position is great for the detail-oriented, critical thinker who enjoys working with people, advising clients, and managing multiple irons in the fire.

  Tasks include but are not limited to:

  Serving as a CPIC, IT Program/Portfolio Management, and DoD IT Policy subject matter expert on client engagement

  Advising client and team members on all matters related to federal IT program/portfolio management, CPIC, and DoD IT Governance processes

  Senior advisor supporting the management, and/or executing the development and delivery of IT governance/CPIC/portfolio management work products, deliverables, and services

  Reviews, and tracks reporting on federal CPIC, IT portfolio management, and IT governance best practices, including monitoring, tracking, reporting on, and implementing OMB, GAO, FISMA, FITARY, DoD, DAF, and other federal CPIC, SPPBE, and IT governance guidance and requirements

  Advises CPIC team and Senior project leadership and PMO with designs and implementing IT portfolio and IT governance program performance management approach and captures and reports on performance metrics

  Monitoring, tracking, reporting on, and implementing OMB, GAO, and other federal IT governance guidance and requirements

  Monitoring, tracking, reporting on, and implementing (as required) federal CPIC, IT portfolio management, and IT governance best practices. Tracking, monitoring, and responding to data calls

  Helping to coordinate, manage, and facilitate IT governance forums and boards and associated meetings

  Serving as senior CPIC and IT Portfolio Management subject matter expert within the firm

  Provides Senior level reviews of project documentation, including budgets, project schedules, and various planning and implementation documents, including analysis of monthly data for Major and Non-Major Business Cases, and performance metrics and project risks

  Supports corporate-level projects/efforts, and the ability to build relationships, negotiate and think in unique and creative new ways

  What You Will Need :

  An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

  THREE (3) or more years experience performing Senior level advisory at the federal level and/or for a federal client, Program/Project Management and analysis activities, implementation of business plans and milestones, performance accomplishments against established measures, financial budget projections against program results for multi-million dollar IT Investment Portfolios.

  Experience advising, managing, and reviewing portfolios of IT investments within Federal agencies along analytical frameworks to track and report cost, schedule, and performance for internal and external stakeholders.

  Understanding of the development and role of organization strategy, enterprise architectures, program/project management, business case analysis, and how they inform IT investment decisions using and implementing missions, legislative strategy and operations, administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedent applicable to the administration of Federal and DoD business processes.

  Experience with Project & Portfolio Delivery and leading major high-profile portfolios within agreed parameters of time, cost, and quality.

  Experience preparing briefings and other written materials for executives, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders at a Senior level.

  What Would Be Nice To Have :

  Bachelor/Master's degree, preferably in Information Technology/Systems, or engineering, analysis field

  FIVE (5) or more years of experience performing IT Program Management, CPIC, IT Portfolio Management, Cybersecurity, planning, and analysis activities for a Federal client

  Understanding of OMB, DoD, FISMA, and FITARA reviews, and reporting requirements

  Understanding of budget formulation processes within the Federal government, strategic and tactical direction as well project management best practices techniques and guidance in support of the client’s major IT portfolio investments.

  Understanding of the development and role of organization strategy, enterprise architectures, and program/project management, and how they inform IT investment decisions.

  Experience preparing written and briefing materials for project leaders and for Senior government leaders/client deliverables.

  Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at a Senior level

  Comfortable and skilled in operating in a complex operational matrix organization.

  Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
