　　Microsoft modern device management (MDM) solution is a core part of the chip-to-cloud protection to keep our customers secured and productive anywhere. It minimizes complexity by offering management capabilities both on-premises and in the cloud, from any IT console at high scale and reliability. Our team in Enterprise and Security delivers the management platform across Microsoft devices, platforms and OSes. We work with a large number of teams across Microsoft to expose their management capabilities, and work with enterprise customers to accelerate their digital transformation. The team is further utilizing our management platform to enable the fleets of Windows 365 Cloud PCs that provide familiar personalized Windows experience from secure and powerful Microsoft cloud.

　　Responsibilities

　　We build a whole lot of things, starting from foundational platforms for IT management lifecycle. We work on operating system (OS) services, to the shell, to apps, and integrate with multiple Azure services. We code in multiple programming languages (e.g., not just C/C++, but also C#, PowerShell); debug in WinDbg (for lower level code) to Visual Studio on Windows. Our work includes opportunities for partnerships with a large number of teams at Microsoft to productize exciting and innovative ideas, so we will be utilizing your excellent collaboration and cross team design skills to bring ambiguous projects to succeed. 　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

　　OR equivalent experience.

　　Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications

　　Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
