This person will work closely with accounting team members, operations managers, and other corporate departments. This position will be involved in developing and implementing standards, with ongoing analysis of the monthly results. Taylor Print & Service Solutions Group offers growth within Accounting as well as throughout operations and other segments of the business.Your Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of the Company's production reporting.Develop Cost Accounting standards materials, labor, and overheadsRecommend best practices and KPI's to measure profitabilityMonitor unit cost variancesDevelop cost of goods sold and production reportsParticipate in annual budget guidanceDevelop guidelines for updating standard costs quarterlyMonthly margin analysisAssist with additional projects as assignedYou Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years experience within cost accountingWorking knowledge of US GAAPAbility to work independently and on a team, meet deadlines, and an interest in identifying and resolving problemsExperience with automated accounting systems (Oracle)Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel)Detail oriented with excellent organizational and strong analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively with peers and managementWell-developed interpersonal skills; ability to establish credibility, make decisions and forge relationshipsWe Would Also Prefer:Advanced degreeCPA or CMAAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the top five graphics communications companies in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
