TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Senior Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator to join our team in our office in Orlando, Florida. The ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required.
The Sr Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator I will perform contract & subcontract administration tasks that will support one or more business groups. The Sr Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator I will support the day-to-day administration and execution of contracts & subcontracts associated with new and renewing contracts/subcontracts.
Responsibilities:
Provide contract & subcontract proposal support to program team by taking an active role in negotiation of favorable terms and conditions.
Participate in negotiating contract & subcontract terms and conditions.
Review documentation and interpretation of contractual rights and obligations internally and externally, ensure that due diligence is practiced in complying with stated terms and conditions (contract & subcontract agreements).
Initiates the Contract or Subcontracts Review process by documenting the key terms and flow-down requirements and coordinates those requirements to the appropriate internal departments.
Fosters positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Maintain detailed and compliant contract & subcontract files.
Track contract and subcontract authorizations, funding levels, deliverable and correspondence.
Prepare contract and subcontract briefs and revisions summarizing contractual requirements.
Update contract & subcontract related information in contract management system and other databases.
Manage negotiations (Contracts, Subcontracts, NDAs, TAs, ACAs)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
5-10 years of experience.
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business, finance, accounting or supply management or related field, or equivalent preferred or Associates and 2 years additional experience or 4 years additional experience.
Knowledge in U.S. Government (FAR/DFARs) Contracting.
Ability to effectively work with the management of other organizations as well as representatives of Government agencies.
Prior experience with various contract types such as IDIQs, Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, etc.
Experience with contract/subcontract negotiations
Ability to work well under pressure and short deadlines
Ability to work with little oversight and follow established policies and procedures including acquisition laws and regulations
Conversant in Microsoft Office applications and Deltek Costpoint (preferred).
Exercises independent judgement and proactively handles supplier/vendor issues.
Ability to obtain clearance. US citizenship required.
Strong presentation and written communication skills
NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM, or CCCM) or similar preferred.
