Position Summary
The Nestlé System Technology Centre (NSTC) in Orbe is Nestlé’s leading R&D centre for the design, development and deployment of Nestlé delivery systems, offering expertise in machines, packaging and products for in-home and out-of-home.

As a Senior Consumer & Market Insights Specialist , you will be responsible for driving consumer-centric strategies and innovations within the organization. You will play a crucial role in understanding consumer behavior, preferences, and trends to inform decision-making innovations and drive incremental business growth. A Day in the Life of a Consumer & Market Insights Manager
Conduct thorough market research and consumer analysis to identify trends, preferences, and emerging opportunities.
Analyze large datasets and consumer data to extract meaningful insights. Identify patterns, trends, and correlations to inform marketing strategies, product development, and overall business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business, developers, engineers to ensure consumer insights are fully integrated into product development and decision-making processes.
Effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Translate consumer insights into actionable strategies and initiatives that drive business growth.
Work closely with the innovation, development team to help translate a consumer tension into a meaningful innovation
Coach and develop those around you including potential direct reports and leverage experience to train and build consumer insight skills within team and cross-functionals.
Build and drive awareness of external competitive environment.
What will make you successful
Have strong consumer centricity and be passionate about understanding how we craft exceptional concepts that delight consumers globally.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, market research, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
Proficiency in utilizing research methodologies and tools, such as surveys, focus groups, and data analysis software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex insights to stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
Passionate about consumers and knowledge of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and provide actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
Fluent in English.
