  Overview

  SENIOR COMPUTER & INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER (MEF)

  Bowhead seeks a Senior Computer & Information Systems Manager to support our Marine Expeditionary Force G-2 Intelligence Operations Center Support Services contract in Camp Lejune, NC.

  Responsibilities

  Essential functions will include:

  Provides support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program.

  Provides support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.

  Maintains operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.

  Assists with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.

  Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.

  Performs vulnerability and assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation. Manages changes to the system and assesses the security impact of those changes.

  Prepares and reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification & Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs). Supports security authorization activities in compliance Risk Management Framework (RMF).

  Qualifications

  Experience with security tools, hardware or software security implementation, communication protocols, and Encryption techniques or tools

  Experience with providing operational security guidance and information system validation using the National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework and local security policies for application infrastructure

  Experience with supporting system security and authorization processes in accordance with NIST 800 series controls

  Bacheors Degree and five to ten (5-10) years of experience

  DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification

  Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

  Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

  Physical Demands:

  Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds

  Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

  SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret/SCI clearance at this location.
