　　As Amazon continues to grow so does the demand for our Finance Operations (FinOps) data and analytics services. We are recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to drive impact within Global Data and Analytics (GDA) and lead complex programs of work, delivering the technical capabilities that enable Amazon to expand both its services and its reach.

　　Working with leaders around the world, particularly in APAC, you will deliver a high-quality customer experience through developing and leading strategic, cross-functional data programs. These will be aimed at delivering ongoing operational efficiency and free-cash-flow improvements through automation, upstream defect reduction and end-to-end process improvement. You will work backwards from your customer, and problem solve on their behalf. You will dive deep into their requirements, and deliver these programs through our people, processes and technology.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　1) Solve real life business problems by data analytics using big data

　　2) Collaborate with business users on requirements, objectives and measures

　　3) Build and manage QuickSight dashboards

　　4) Provide input and recommendations on technical issues to data engineering and software engineering teams

　　5) Contribute to data design, data modelling and data extracts/transforms

　　6) Work in a genuinely global environment, across various functional teams

　　This role will work closely with Finance Operations, Business Partnering, Finance Automation, Operations, Technology, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

　　5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

　　6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience

　　6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

　　6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

　　6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

　　6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

　　Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

　　Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel

　　Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

　　6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

　　MBA, or CPA

　　Knowledge of SQL/ETL

　　Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

　　Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
