  This role is in the India and Emerging Asia business unit (IEA BU), focusing only on Indonesia. The overall focus is to increase LEGO brand awareness and engagement in Indonesia!

  This role is part of the BU marketing organization, which includes brand, digital, and trade marketing, all reporting to the Marketing Director for the BU. There is also a regional APAC marketing team to support BU's marketing efforts.

  Core Responsibilities

  The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for the development and execution of highly effective marketing programs that drive an increase in top-of-mind awareness for the LEGO brand in Indonesia. More specifically, you will:

  Develop and implement marketing campaigns linked to the aligned brand activation calendar based on key consumer, shopper, and shopper/media insights

  Collaborate with multiple partners, including internal marketing sub-teams and regional marketing teams in the LEGO group, as well as with the Distributor partners

  Learn by tracking and analyzing business and campaign performance versus plan via After Action Reviews, comparing marketing executions from other business units & other brands

  Develop strong and effective media plans, working closely with external media agency

  Manage external PR/activation agency and jointly implement PR plan including press releases, story pitching, and media kits to build buzz and make the LEGO Group's initiatives talk of town

  Build strong relations with mainstream media, influencers (across different passion points) and other key external partners

  Lead crisis management and corporate PR and represent the LEGO Group at media and partner events

  Explore and develop external brand partnerships locally as per internal guidelines

  Lead relationships with existing IP partners (e.g. Disney, Warner) locally to generate strong and sustainable demand

  Capture information about Indonesia's Toy Market Landscape

  Tackle supervisory role to review Bahasa translations and provide translation work for LEGO campaigns (from English to Bahasa Indonesia)

  Provide site leadership and be responsible for general health, safety and office strategic direction for The LEGO Group Indonesia staff

  Do you have what it takes?

  10+ years' experience in branding and marketing, preferably in the branded goods industry or categories including but not limited to not limited to Apparel & Fashion, Retail, Luxury, FMCG, and Sports, would be preferred.

  Strong strategic, digital and well-rounded end-to-end thinking—the ability to translate global or regional strategy into local priorities.

  Demonstrated results orientation with successful experience in decision making, data centricity, bravery to test hypothesis, a constantly-learning approach, strong analytical and evaluation skills and ability to turn findings into action

  Strong collaborator and able to work across various internal functions and external partners.

  Strong ownership and Can-do attitude

  Excellent communication and presentation skills with analytical mind

  Strong project management skills

  Able to navigate ambiguity with a solution-oriented mentality.

  Ability to build alliances and partnerships with external partners through excellent negotiation skills
