　　We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer who is passionate about pushing mobile technologies to the limits. We value people who are not afraid to dig into other people's code, think that code is the best documentation, and like to experiment with new technologies while understanding the risk of pushing them to production. We like to work with engineers who believe learning a concept is more important than learning a framework and pick technologies outside their comfort zone when they believe they're the best tool for solving a particular problem.

　　As a senior member of our mobile team, you will help us develop new features that take advantage of the latest Android ecosystem trends and improve our existing systems. As we think of ourselves as mobile developers, you'll also help review and improve our iOS code base.

　　What We're Looking For

　　4+ years of large-scale Android experience in a team environment A strong understanding of complex native mobile applications to help set the direction for Android as we scaleFamiliarity with Kotlin either in side projects or in full production code is requiredWillingness to learn some iOS when needed (we have a cross-platform mobile team)Ability to write code that is well structured, idiomatic, reusable, and easy to understandExcellent communicator: comfort explaining technical problems in person and in writingTeam player: enjoys teaching new concepts to, and collaborating with, the teamUser-oriented: thoughtfulness when considering both our growing and our legacy users when implementing new features and updates, placing them as the priorityStrong sense of responsibility and ownership; you will have come from an environment in which people are responsible for their own codeExperience working with iOS is a plus

　　Base Salary

　　The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000 - $231,000.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom's estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package.
