Your opportunity
Exercise professional judgement and authority to approve or stop trades with timely and accurate guidance so as not to delay trading activities.
Perform detailed reviews and/or complex calculations to confirm compliance with investment guidelines, regulatory restrictions, and/or ad-hoc requests.
Identify and communicate potential compliance issues and recommend corrective action where necessary.
Review and prepare compliance reports to support ongoing compliance monitoring and testing as well as to provide documentation and information to management.
Collaborate and advise internal business partners including Investment teams, Investment Compliance Implementation team, Trading, Legal, and/or Operations to discuss and ensure accuracy of the program, as well as identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Partner with global counterparts to ensure appropriate regional coverage for pre-trade as well as find opportunities for global consistency.
Participate and effectively represent Investment Compliance within various working groups and committees spanning across multiple departments as needed

Must have skills
Bachelor's degree or significant relevant industry experience required.
A minimum of 3 years investment compliance experience.
Significant compliance experience within asset management across a broad range of products and investment management fields required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to exercise balanced judgment and decision making under pressure required.
Solid understanding of equity and fixed income securities and derivatives products required.
High energy, positive attitude, enthusiastic, professional, with a strong work ethic.
Proactive and self-sufficient with ability to advance where appropriate. Highly self-motivated, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, influence and maintain relationships, and manage client expectations and competing priorities.
Good planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Nice to have skills
Solid grasp of Charles River, investment compliance methodologies and techniques a plus.
Solid knowledge of fund management processes.
Understanding of current and proposed regulatory requirements impacting the Funds Management industry a plus.
