Description
Our client is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to creating a positive impact in the communities they serve, and they rely on accurate and organized data to guide their decision-making and program development. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Clerk to support the organization’s data management needs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of data and ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for decision-making purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management:
Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in organizational databases and spreadsheets.
Verify data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring consistency with organizational standards.
Organize and manage digital and physical records as needed.
Reporting and Analysis Support:
Assist in generating reports and summaries for program evaluation, grant proposals, and other organizational needs.
Identify and correct data inconsistencies and errors.
Administrative Support:
Collaborate with team members to ensure data aligns with project goals and objectives.
Handle sensitive data with confidentiality and professionalism.
Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Proven experience in a data entry or administrative role (nonprofit experience is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Familiarity with data management software or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
