Aston Carter is partnering with a large, international company seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant for their team. Our client operates in more than 6 countries with 14 different entities. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of international accounting practices & procedures, as well as experience in accounting for discontinuing operations as they move to close out some of their business unites.

　　This is a contract role that will last around 6+ months, and is fully remote. Can sit anywhere in the US! See below for job description and details.

　　Job Description:

　　Prepare monthly GL entries required to record the activities of the accounts being monitored.

　　Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.

　　Prepare monthly P&L analysis and provide explanations for variances.

　　Coordinate with local accounting teams, perform tie-out to foreign subsidiaries’ accounting records, identify, and resolve variances

　　Provide support for the annual audits performed by independent auditors.

　　Manage fixed assets activities, including addition, disposals, depreciation, impairment and movement of fixed assets and intangible assets across multiple entities and multiple currencies.

　　Prepare monthly fixed assets and capital leases GL entries with adequate support documents.

　　Prepare and maintain monthly fixed assets roll forward and capital leases schedules.

　　Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations including but not limited to fixed assets and capital leases.

　　Perform research of fixed assets in multiple source systems and work with Operations/Logistics

　　Departments to determine locations and status of assets.

　　Prepare monthly GL entries required to record the activities of the accounts being monitored.

　　Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts.

　　Coordinate with local accounting firms and prepare tie-out with local accounting books for the assigned foreign subsidiaries.

　　Prepare monthly P&L analysis and provide explanations for variances.

　　Provide support for the annual audits performed by independent auditors.

　　Skills & Additional Info:

　　Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of FOREX conversions, fixed assets treatment, goodwill, roll forwards, capital/operating leases, and account/ledger reconciliations and international accounting.

　　ASC 205 preferred

　　General Ledger Accounting & Reconciliations

　　Bachelor's in Accounting

　　CPA preferred
