　　Responsibilities

　　The production supervisor will provide the necessary leadership to ensure that the operations group has the proper operations controls, procedures, people and systems in place to effectively execute daily production schedules

　　Leads a team of hourly and salaried associates to ensure efficient production of products

　　Ensures a safe work environment for all associates through actively participating in the plant Central Safety Committee and daily observations

　　Works cross functionally with departments to ensure production operates efficiently while minimizing downtime, meeting scheduling deadlines, and managing labor and associate schedules to budget expectation

　　Continuously promotes motivation among the staff to strive for more efficient and productive manufacturing operations, including modeling and leading high standards of safety, quality, customer service, productivity and efficiency

　　Develop or revise standard operational and working practices to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices
