POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an enthusiastic Trade Marketing Assistant Manager to join our Marketing team at M·A·C .
As a Trade Marketing Assistant Manager, you will support the brand by for developing, executing, and supporting the retail marketing strategy in key 3 rd party accounts for the UK & Ireland.
Working cross-functionally and alongside the Trade Marketing Manager, the Trade Marketing Assistant Manager is responsible for enhancing the consumer experience and connection to the brand within their accounts, driving bespoke omni-channel retail plans that are aligned with key customer moments.

WHAT THIS ROLE DOES
TRADE MARKETING
· Shape, manage and execute the retail partnership marketing strategy and calendar for their accounts across the UK & Ireland
· Identify opportunities within each account making recommendations to achieve sales ambition and working collaboratively across all MAC functions including Sales, Online, Product Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Influencer Marketing, Paid Media, Content, CRM to activate on opportunities
· Driving revenue growth through marketing to ensure brand building and further support sales & growth targets across new launches, hero products & sub-category opportunities.
· Define and drive M.A.C exclusive programs & initiatives (NPD & Promotion) relevant to their doors hand in hand with Product Marketing team
· Drive the creation and delivery of the retailer plans within Retailer Strategy meetings for their accounts
· Deliver a fully integrated plan ensuring strong coordination and alignment with the third-party online team
· Be the brand guardian and champion for the brand across their accounts, acting as the marketing point of contact for external trading/buying teams for their accounts
· Present Trade Marketing plans within internal cross-functional campaign planning meetings
· Manage assortment offering for new counter & store openings & consistently manage assortment changes within their accounts
· Drive an efficient retail event strategy anchored around: Content creation, sales activation, and brand equity building
· With the support of the Trade Marketing Assistant lead the execution of new door and counter openings across the estate driving awareness and buzz within local area ensuring sales goals are achieved
· Develop meaningful concepts and activations with sustainability front-of-mind
BUDGET PLANNING & REPORTING
· Conduct competitors audits and benchmarking, trend tracking to identify risks and opportunities with Business Analyst to shape trade marketing plans accordingly
· Track campaigns performance per account to create a framework highlighting best practices
· Actively participate in budget planning with strategic growth plans for the key 3 rd party accounts and support the Trade Marketing team in delivering cost center accuracy within business goals
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
· Support and give guidance on Trade Marketing Assistant accounts, day-to-day management, and specific projects
· Manage the development of the Trade Marketing Assistant
PROJECTS / WORK YOU WILL BE PART OF
Here are a few examples of some exciting projects the chosen candidate will work on:
· Manage a FSS exclusive events supporting high traffic moments by briefing an external agency and working cross-functionally on a 360-support plan
· Activating & managing the budget for big bang exclusive launches within their key priority partners by negotiating placements, opportunities, and rate cards
· Work with partners on supporting exclusive collection that ties into London Fashion Week with backstage access, social content, in-store masterclasses with Lead Talent and impactful Visual Merchandising

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL IN THIS ROLE:
· Education to degree level or equivalent.
· Relevant experience in marketing, with a strong understanding and passion for the beauty industry.
· Strong commercial acumen with thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape.
· Ability to manage projects from concept and aligning all stakeholders to ensure excellence in execution.
· Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving momentum on projects and proactively planning.
· Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and relationship management skills: comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization and able to develop working relationships with retailers and across the corporation (including in the field).
· Strong team player able to drive cross-functional collaboration.
· Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable delivering presentations to a variety of internal and external audiences.
· Experience of global brands an advantage
