Description

Robert Half is seeking a knowledgeable and accomplished Senior Accountant for a role within a progressive manufacturing company in Chula Vista. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with ERP systems, full-cycle accounting, and been directly involved in month/quarter/year-end close procedures. Additional expertise in reconciliations, audit procedures, financial analysis will be critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities Include:

Overseeing full-cycle accounting activities

Performing month, quarter, and year-end accounting close processes

Conducting regular ledger reconciliation and resolving discrepancies

Facilitating internal and external audits

Carrying out financial analysis for decision-making purposes

Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing

Significant experience with ERP systems

Demonstrable knowledge of month/quarter/year-end close procedures

Experience in auditing and financial analysis

Degree in Accountancy or a related field

Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
