Shine Bright.In this role, the General Manager creates and maintains a customer-drivenhotel with a member-keeping vision that inspires the associates to do theirbest. Oversee the quality process to ensure customer satisfaction byconsistent delivery of both product quality and service in accordance withhotel's profitability goals.We are committed to providing you with:Excellent compensation package with a salary range between $110,000 - $125,000Operational incentive plan eligibilityAn exceptional benefit plan for eligible associates & your family members,to include, medical, dental, vision and time off401K matching program for eligible associatesDiscounts with our Crescent managed properties in North America for you &your family membersESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Perform administrative duties including: reading and writing reports,dictating memorandums and orally communicating with guests, managers,corporate office, local associations, etc. Critically review reports ofoccupancy, revenue etc. Make judgments and implement changes to maximizeprofits. Supervise development of and revision to business plan, annualbudget and annual and monthly forecasts, etc. Formulate complex reports.Communicate with the public, staff, corporate office and owners.2. Interview, hire supervise and counsel department managers in theefficient operation of their respective area(s). Meet with, develop anddelegate improvement plans for operation and review performance of managementt3. Recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide opencommunication and approve discipline and all terminations.4. Participate in community affairs and maintain positive public image forCrescent and hotel. Meet with potential and current clients and promote hotel.5. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction tostaff.6. Physically tour and visually inspect property on a daily basis. Monitorcost control, property condition, cleanliness and quality of product andservice throughout hotel. Greet and maintain rapport with associates andcustomers.7. Travel to attend corporate meetings, sales trips and serve on committeessuch as Research, Development and Standards committee.8. Appropriate handle associate issues in conjunction with Human Resourcesfollowing Crescent policies.9. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.10. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Required Skills & Abilities:Minimum of 5 years' experience as a General Manager or Hotel Manager in afull-service hotel.Must have the ability to communicate in English.Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professionalappearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests.Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security andsafety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of businessplans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assuranceprograms, hospitality law, and long-range planning.Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishmentof goals.*Applications will be accepted until 2/29/24, or until the position hasbeen filled.
