Description You will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial statements, analyzing and reconciling accounts, analyzing cash flow, creating budgets and forecasts, preparing audits, and managing internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Crucial components of the role include analytical skills and an ability to handle a challenging, fast-paced work culture. Your responsibilities
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests Requirements - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Account reconciliation experience
Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
ERP system experience
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
