　　Description and Requirements

　　Job Location: New Hires Should live within a commutable distance of the Tampa FL Office

　　Role Value Proposition:

　　This role is a team member of the RIS Operational Financial Controls Team located in Tampa aligned to the Retirement and Income Solutions (RIS) business. In this role you will be assigned and be responsible for reconciling an inventory of cash and suspense accounts. Additional responsibilities include; monitoring lockboxes, recording incoming deposits, preparing manual journal entries and responding to requests from various business stakeholders.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Perform Cash and Suspense Account Reconciliations

　　Ability to communicate clearly with management, team members, and other lines of business.

　　Completion of Month End Processes (i.e., journal entries, monthly transfers, month-end balance sheet certifications, waivers, write-offs)

　　Deliver accurate and timely work product within specified deliverables timelines, and in coordination with other team members.

　　Analyze, validate, and process banking transactions.

　　Maintain data integrity

　　Basic activities having external impact subject to management review

　　Handle daily/routine information requests.

　　Performs other duties as assigned or required.

　　Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

　　Required:

　　High School diploma

　　1+ yrs. Related experience

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

　　Preferred:

　　Associate or bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

　　3+ yrs. Related experience

　　Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting systems.

　　Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

　　Ability to quickly learn multiple systems and software to use them in identifying, researching, and resolving outstanding cash and suspense issues.

　　Must possess and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team player.

　　Strong customer satisfaction focus.
