What you will do. * Providesfirst-level technical support for security systems, including firewalls,intrusion detection and prevention systems, jump hosts, authentication,identity and access management, VPN, proxy, and remote access systems.* Participates in low to medium complexity company, department level,and team level projects impacting security. * Responsible for basicphases of security systems administration including policy management,installation, maintenance, testing, debugging, and documentation. *Assists in the execution of processes and procedures in support of theexecution of access control related security standards and controls forcybersecurity system protection. * Executes work processes which complywith security policies. * Prepares and maintains operationaldocumentation. * Establishes procedures for the Help Desk to resolveminor security issues and problems. * Identifies, plans, implements,documents, and complies with procedures for complying withSarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and North American Electric ReliabilityCorporation Critical Infrastructure Protection (NERC CIP) regulations.* Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation. * Engages in other duties asneeded that support Alliant Energy\'s Values and helps deliver on ourPurpose to serve customers and build stronger communities. RequiredExperience * Experience with at least one of the following preferred:* internet security, encryption, identity management, firewalls, jumphosts or authentication systems (token or biometrics). PreferredExperience * Associate Degree Information Technology. Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities * Proven knowledge of database, network, server,and remote connectivity security. * Demonstrated ability to usecomputer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet,and project management). * Demonstrated effective interpersonal,verbal, and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectivelyin a diverse work environment.
