  This position is responsible for responding to emergency scenes (patrol, fire, and EMS), operation of fire apparatus and equipment, and fire and security duties

  This position is within a heavy industrial environment and will be required to work within various areas of the Great Lakes Works facility. Dependent upon the area, the environmental condition can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet and noisy.

  This position will require working rotating shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.

  The position also requires working overtime as needed.

  Requirements:

  High School Diploma or GED

  State of Michigan Emergency medical Technician Certification.

  Preferred Skills:

  Experience in Medical or Fire field preferred

  Firefighter 1 & 2 certification preferred
