Description
Manage and organize cables for 48 workstations in accordance with industry best practices and company standards.
Install cable trays under desks to facilitate organized routing and management of cables.
Set up workstations, including connecting and securing various cables such as power cords, data cables, and peripherals.
Run new cables as needed to establish connections between workstations, network equipment, and other relevant devices.
Collaborate with the project team to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient execution of cable management activities.
Test cable connections to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the setup process.
Adhere to safety protocols while working with cables and other equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cable Technician or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on cable management and workstation setups.
Familiarity with cable management techniques, including the use of cable trays, clips, ties, and other organizational tools.
Proficiency in identifying and labeling different types of cables for easy identification and troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of network and connectivity principles, including Ethernet and power connections.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve cable-related issues.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and end-users.
