The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environmentfor our residents by actively monitoring the premises, includingpatrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcingregulations and directives for a resident site pertaining to personnel,visitors, and the area. What You\'ll Do Create a Secure Environment Youwill provide a highly visible status to residents and potentialintruders to foster a sense of safety. Operate wireless communicationsequipment between Security Guard and office. Observe video monitors.Patrol hallways, building and parking lot to ensure it is well lit andresident vehicles are locked. Determine that no unauthorized vehiclesare present. Ensure that all doors are secured and locked in theevening. Respond personally to location to satisfy needs of theresidents and personnel. Adhere to established safety procedures.Maintains a current list of emergency numbers. Keep record of residentsentering and leaving premises after front doors are locked. Answerin-coming phone lines when office is closed. Maintain confidentiality ofresident and community information. In the event of emergency, assistlocal emergency personnel within the facility as needed. Attend allrequired training, in-services, and staff meetings.
