　　CACI has an excellent opportunity for a School Nurse - Summer Program to support the C5ISR summer camp from July 22 to August 9. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience as a registered nurse This project supports the C5ISR HQ and its subordinate directorates located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD-Harford Glen, MD

　　What You Will Get to Do:

　　Administers first aid for injury and illness. Administers medications and health care treatments.

　　Provides and coordinates health care interventions, including emergency responses.

　　Assesses the health needs of the school community.

　　Coordinates health matters between the health care provider, family, and the school.

　　Conducts, coordinates, and follows-up health screening programs.

　　Maintains school health records, including ensuring compliance with state health mandates for school attendance.

　　Monitors the spread of communicable diseases. Develops and implements strategies to control the spread of communicable diseases.

　　Promotes a safe and orderly school environment with health counseling and health education. Assists the principal and staff in improving student achievement

　　Provides appropriate health services, supervision of delegated nursing tasks, counseling, and resources referral to students, parents, and staff at assigned locations during the summer camp.

　　You Bring These Qualifications

　　Secret-level Security Clearance Obtainable

　　Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience

　　Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.

　　Driver’s License Required

　　Be able to review and sign off on the health plan, review all camper medical forms before camp begins work with camp administrators to plan for all prescriptions, and attend camp orientation.

　　Pass the State of MD Background Check for Educators and Staff.

　　Current Certification in First AiD

　　Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR).

　　Knowledge of the nursing process.

　　Knowledge of the pathophysiology and nursing management of common acute and chronic health conditions of the school population.

　　Knowledge of the tools, instruments, and equipment used in nursing

　　Knowledge of current health issues and trends.

　　Skill in the provision of a variety of nursing care services.

　　Skill in the monitoring and assessment of patient's health care needs and services.

　　Skill in the preparation and maintenance of records.

　　Skill in verbal and written communication, including interdisciplinary and multicultural communication.

　　Skill in the use of computers and word processing, databases, patient care documentation, and spreadsheet software packages.

　　Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information and records.

　　Ability to apply the nursing process in the community setting.

　　These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

　　Experience as a school nurse

　　Experience as a camp nurse
