　　Hourly Pay Rate / Salary:

　　$23.09/hr. - $48,037

　　What’s a typical day as a School Accountant? You’ll be:

　　• Utilizing your working knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting to maintain accurate financial records.

　　• Working for multiple supervisors and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

　　• Paying attention to detail and maintaining strict confidentiality.

　　• Handling budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll tasks.

　　• Working some evenings and weekends to travel to other schools and parishes

　　This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

　　• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting (Required)

　　• Have two or more years of experience in the accounting profession

　　• Possess a reliable means of transportation for occasional travel

　　• Demonstrate a strong understanding of budgeting, accounts payable, and payroll

　　• Hold a CPA license (a plus).
