Your mission will be to: Purpose(Objective): The incumbent is responsible for sample entry, assignmentof test codes, expedient release of sample to operations for analysisand laboratory shipping. Main activities: *Receive and log in sample inpreparation for analysis.Review sample and any attached documentation toassign an identification number and enter information into LaboratoryInformation Management System (LIMS).Prepare documentation as necessary.*Contact client, when necessary, to obtain and clarify missing orunclear information to ensure that identification of client code, testcode, and sample contents are accurate. *Store samples in appropriatemanner until analysis is completed and appropriately dispose of extrasamples.Ensure sample integrity is maintained. *Prepare packages forpick up by shipping vendors.Follow appropriate procedures to sendpackages and maintain all related documentation. *Prepare sample to beshipped to other testing facilities when necessary.Complete appropriatedocumentation and file accordingly. *May assist client servicepersonnel with the development of customized clientreports.Activitiesinclude:collection of data, analysis of data, anddevelopment of report. *May assist laboratory personnel with thepreparation and analysis of samples. *Support corporate quality andcontinuous improvement process. *This position has the responsibilitiesand authority to identify departures from the quality system or testprocedures and document such observations in accordance with theprescribed complaint system. *Perform other related duties as needed Atany time, the incumbent must behave and operate in an ethical and Codeof Conduct compliant manner.
