Job Description
The Sales & Operations Planner III serves as the subject matter expert for demand planning, network optimization, and capacity planning while supporting various projects, including monthly demand plans, consumption models, network and production strategy optimization, integration of new business, and new product launches. This individual will drive actions to improve key metric results. The successful candidate will have five or more years of demand and supply experience in a manufacturing environment. This individual will also have end to end supply expertise, demonstrate and implement process improvements, and maintain measurable metrics. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable accomplishments of forecast accuracy, lean inventory, high service levels, and low excess inventory.

How will you impact?
Review forecast generated and provide input on changes required.
Develop and analyze 12–18-month supply plan and present to site leadership.
Develop a near-term (0-6 months) production supply plan for the site using Excel, SAP, and IBP.
Execute supply planning elements and initiate data into ERP system collaborate with demand planners.
Collect information and collaborate with other functions such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to identify events that will impact demand and incorporate into the forecast.
Prepare for and lead Demand and Supply review meetings as applicable.
Generate scenarios considering products, past event data, customer/market analysis, cannibalization, substitution, and other relevant parameters.
Prepares agenda, presents materials, and facilitates monthly resource requirement planning and sales and operations planning meetings.
Scenario planning / capacity analysis for strategic planning and various projects and initiatives across the plant.
Provide detailed capacity charts for business review meetings.
Create SAP master data – responsible for review and creation of semi and fini bill of materials, routings, material master, and link to customer numbers.
Create and maintain Capacity Evaluation tool for site capacity planning with future opportunities with 5-year outlook.
SME for IBP – must be able to troubleshoot, create templates, and test fixes / provide documentation and work instructions.
Ability to run and maintain multiple spreadsheets / reports.
Maintain accuracy of planning data.
Enable plan to deliver/improve service & inventory targets by delivering/improving forecast measures.
Provide demand input into the S&OP process to allow for transparency of risks and opportunities.
Lead efforts in maintenance of business intelligence tool, overseeing build-out of global retailed reporting, dashboards, and visualizations.
Required Experience:
BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or another business or technical field required.Preferred Experience & Education:
5 years Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment; equivalent experience and education will be considered.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Formal process improvement / operational excellence training is preferred.
Experience in enterprise business systems and business software (specifically, SAP).
APICS certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Advanced user of SAP and Excel; strong proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage conflict and drive resolutions.
Working knowledge of connection between manufacturing and financial data / reporting.
Ability to inspire, foster innovation, collaborate, and effectively manage cross-functional teams.
