This newly created Sales Management role will be responsible for maximizing sales of all S&S Latinx appropriate titles across our Adult, Children’s and Audio businesses. They will be instrumental in identifying and developing new outlets as well as expanding existing ones. This role will be an integral part of our Latinx business unit and work closely with publishing, editorial, publicity and marketing to maximize exposure, readership and segment growth.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, manage and grow the Latinx account base. Generate new business and establish Latinx customer partnerships.
Develop a thorough knowledge of the company’s authors and books and determine the best strategy to reach the target audience.
Deliver effective presentations including proposals to customers and internal reviews to management.
Collaborate with marketing and publicity departments to create effective fully integrated campaigns.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales or marketing with a focus on the Latinx market place.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Must have exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications and have a fair amount of comfort presenting in front of a client.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
A passion for and or experience in books is strongly preferred.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
