The budgeted range starts at $46,000 - $57,500. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Job Summary:
Primary areas of responsibilities including supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing in selling and servicing various types of group meetings, tour groups, and social events across properties to achieve budgeted revenue, room night, and service goals. General areas of responsibility include developing the sales strategies and annual plan under the guidance of the Director of Sales & Marketing; soliciting negotiating and contracting a variety of groups business for Jackson Lake Lodge; collaborating with operational areas on planning and fulfillment of services; development and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive loyalty; and tracking, analyzing, and reporting various group segment metrics.
Additional responsibility is providing training and supervision of the season Sales & Marketing Coordinator and supervision of the yearround Group Rooms Coordinator.

You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them.
Job Responsibilities:
Develops and carries out annual Group and Tour Sales plan; solicits and responds to a variety of group inquiries; negotiates and contracts group, tour group, and social business (Group)
Monitors, tracks and reports on Group business pacing and forecasting, pickup and attrition via formal reports and meeting participation; addresses business needs accordingly
Tracks and analyzes year-over-year tour requests and performance
Ensures complete and accurate information on Group bookings is input into sales and operations systems; maintains accurate and up-todate information on all clients/accounts
Coordinates with Operations on decision-making related to Group business capacities, opportunities, limitations and needs
Communicates Group information on an ongoing basis to key Operations departments in a timely manner; monitors service issues and works with Operations to address challenges and opportunities
Supervises administrative work related to Group segment conducted by Group Rooms Coordinator and Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Consistently communicates with leadership on Group business status, client/guest issues, projects and tasks; identifies and presents business challenges and opportunities; proactively seeks and accepts guidance and support; delivers quality work on time
Assists in other department and office tasks, which may include collecting Group deposits, Group billing and accounting tasks, marketing projects and tasks, coordinating guest and client events, assisting with site tours and tradeshows, and other duties as needed
Job Requirements:
4-year college degree or equivalent additional experience
3+ years hospitality industry experience; 1-3 years sales, marketing and/or reservations experience
1+ year preferred
Valid driver’s license and a vehicle or ability to obtain a satisfactory motor vehicle report
Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills, POS systems, Delphi/FDC
Ability to speak, read and write English fluently; strong oral and written communications skills required
Positive attitude and exceptional guest service skills to support both internal and external partners
Extremely well organized, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently with minimal supervision; must be extremely self-motivated and able to prioritize effectively
Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal competency
Flexible, versatile and a fast learner, able to adapt quickly to changing demands and maintain calm in a fast paced, fluid, and often high-pressure environment
Strong data orientation, with the ability to organize, analyze, and communicate large amounts of data that is often complex; ability to use data in decision-making
Able to lead/direct non-reports in other departments to ensure success; capable of “sitting in the middle” and managing needs and expectations of stakeholders who often have competing priorities
Comfortable working with internal and external guests, clients, executives, partners, vendors and associates at all levels
Basic understanding of hotel operations
Present a well-groomed appearance and professional manner; professional phone and email etiquette
Able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures; willing and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Prior Sales experience preferred
Interpretive Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park helpful
Experience with group booking and POS systems a plus: Delphi, FDC, V1

The expected pay range is $46,000 - $57,500. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
