  This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As the Head, Cardiometabolic Assay Marketing you will be responsible for:

  This “assays and CLS champion” is the focal point regarding Cardiometabolic assays and market knowledge; planning/execution; and achievement of business objectives. 

  Utilizing customer & commercial insights to lead the team implementing market strategies for strategic disease states, panels and key assays, aligning closely with priorities for across CLS marketing.

  Responsible for the product from identification of customer and market needs/wants; to concept and product development; product launch and commercialization activities; through and including product discontinuation.

  Creating global assay framework that allows for prioritization across the regions.

  Collaborating and providing input with R&D and commercial leaders as the product and disease state panel subject matter expert.

  Ensures effective and timely development of sales and marketing strategies for existing and future assays.

  Leading structured & impactful new global assay launches.

  Developing premium & competitive pricing and assay growth strategies.

  Fosters KOL input and advocacy, builds customer scientific champions and clinical value. Utilize expertise to develop differentiated assays customized for clinical pathways in strategic disease states.

  Drives visible and quantifiable outcomes for the Assay portfolio via clinical & operational value proposition.

  Creates global demand and improves salesforce effectiveness to expand assay utilization and assay penetration revenue in a customer-centric manner

  Leading the implementation of a multi-year product road map and market strategies across the Cardiometabolic Assay portfolio.

  Participates in strategic planning initiatives such as PMP (Portfolio Management Process)

  Guiding new product definition

  You will be the subject matter expert for the disease state panel and assays within the panel and will be responsible for supporting internal functions to ensure the value for the assay and panel are maximized for the company and the customer

  Required skills to have for the success of this role

  7+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in varying specialties – marketing planning, campaign development and execution, developing compelling sales messaging / materials and training, conducting market research, developing product portfolio strategy, and new product development and new launch initiatives.

  Must have differentiating experiences in sales/commercial, marketing, new product development, and new product launch expertise.

  Must have Core Lab Diagnostics experience.

  Prior experience as a med-tech/laboratorian ideal.

  Expertise in IA/CC assay product development, the clinical usage of assays, and understanding of the hospital and reference lab environments ideal.

  Demonstrated skills in strategic, product planning and management

  Demonstrated strength developing marketing talent.

  Demonstrated ability to effectively manage across the matrix in the context of a large global company.

  Bachelor degree in business; life sciences; engineering or related technical discipline. MBA is preferred

  The pay range for this position is $200.000.00-$276,000.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is (25%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
