　　Basic Job Functions:

　　Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore,candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead,and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeepingstandards at all times. The Safety Technician is expected to providetechnical safety and health support for the division. They will alsomonitor federal, state, and local safety regulations and providetechnical support to ensure compliance. Some travel may be required. Jobduties include, but are not limited to:

　　Promoting safety, health, and wellness awareness at the division.Reviewing operating procedures and practices and providing input forsafety and health considerations.Recordkeeping, including tracking and reviewing safety data toidentify trends and opportunities for improvement.Administering safety orientation and training.Minimum Qualifications:

　　Related industry experiencePreferred Qualifications:
