Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Demonstratestechnical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft systemsoperational testing and troubleshooting. Performs the installation andfunctionally testing of electrical/avionics components and systems onaircraft per Engineering specifications, drawings and maintenancemanuals ensuring a defect free system. Ensures quality and efficiency ofall installations: troubleshoots processes/concepts to provide timely,quality repairs of malfunctioning systems. Demonstrates the skills andknowledge required. to effectively and efficiently repair or replacedefective components and wiring to ensure installations meet conformity.Demonstrates effective repair techniques using acceptable practicesincluding splicing, soldering and pinning of wiring. Performs andcomplies with engineering changes and modifications as required. Sets upand operates necessary test equipment.
