Description:
Singing River Health System is a community owned, not-for-profit health system with 3 inpatient facilities located in Pascagoula, MS, Ocean Springs, MS, and Gulfport, MS. They have 570 beds, 2500 employees, and 300 Physicians. SR experienced a cyber attack in August 2023 while struggling with staffing shortages and on top of that had forced PTO because of the attack. They Skillset needed: -Collects documents, process requests of docs which can be sent via paper, and electronically. -When In person: Supports walk-in to the medical records office, or legal document. Most common and likely would be requests for continuity of care (these STAT requests) -Remote work: Third party requests, legal requests, disability docs. - Remote work: - Preference is a local employee, but they can work remote. (Hybrid ?) -Fewer hoops with IT pertaining to access , support, etc. (Client will allow them to use their own laptop) -Locals can come in to support in person requests. Contract Length: o 12 Weeks to start with possible extension Systems: Excel and Epic (EPIC is a MUST)
