Kennedy Jenks is seeking a Risk Assessment Scientist for our Remediation andCompliance group. In this position, you will be working with anenvironmental team consisting of scientists and engineers solving complexenvironmental problems. This role is ideally based out of our Princeton, NewJersey location but has the potential to sit in any KJ location.
Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be working with an environmental team consistingof scientists and engineers solving complex environmental problems.Collaborate with a team of engineers and scientists to ensure delivery ofaccurate and timely work for clients and projects across the country.Data management, risk assessment and statistical analysis; datapreparation and management such as organizing, tracking, extracting andsummarizing environmental data and their sources.Data evaluation, integration and visualization; documenting methods,results and recommendations.Field work including sampling, travel up to 30%Qualifications:
BS (MS preferred) in Environmental Science, Biology, Toxicology,Chemistry or Environmental Engineering Required3-5 years' experience in risk assessment or masters level educationUnderstanding and appreciation for chemistry and ToxicologyStrong quantitative skillsKnowledge and experience with EPA risk assessment process, guidance,methods, and tools used for CERCLA and RCRA, as well as guidance,methods, and tools for State site remediation programsExcellent oral and written communication skillsCollaborative, team-orientedExposure to or experience in field sampling methods either through courseworkand internship or on the jobKennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid modelof home and office work to empower our people to thrive and achieve their fullpotential.
