　　Vibra Hospital of Denver, located in Thornton, CO, is a 54 bed CriticalCare Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering fromserious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional criticalcare services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectiousdiseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputationand ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer anopportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where youreally get to know your patients and their families.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible for providing efficient, quality-oriented patient care withinthe scope of the department's policy/procedure manual. Performs supportactivities such as equipment maintenance, changes, inventory, and setsup and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized inthe diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness.Required Skills:Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program required.Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered RespiratoryTherapist or CertifiedRespiratory Therapist in the state of employment required.Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6)months of hire.Additional Qualifications/Skills:One (1) year critical care and/or artificial airway and ventilator careexperience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplace.Benefits

　　The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors thatare considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limitedto, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure andcertifications, and other business and organizational needs. It's nottypical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the r nge fortheir role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts andcircumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is$32.
