As part of the Executive Committee, the Resort Manager is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, assisting the Managing Director in implementing hotel goals, strategies, etc., and fulfilling the Managing Directors duties in his/her absence. Ensure that the highest caliber of service is being offered to all guests in accordance with the Standards of Service provided by Inn at Perry Cabin, Links at Perry Cabin and Preferred Hotels and Resorts, so that all expectations are met or exceeded.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee and direct Rooms, Food and Beverage, Spa, and Waterfront.Assist in establishing and creating goals and strategies for both the operational and financial success of the hotel.Ensure that goals and objectives of human resources management are met through supporting the hotel philosophy concerning, but not limited to, hiring, mentoring, coaching, employee relations, accountability, disciplinary action when required.Collaborate with corporate officers in the execution of corporate goals.Responsible for establishing and maintaining hotel standards.As a member of the executive team, work closely with Executive Committee members in achieving hotel's performance and financial goals and objectives.Establish annual objectives for Departments reporting to Resort Manager.```{=html}
```- Conduct Managerial performance evaluations, delivering candid and honest feedback- Comply with all Standards of Service, and ensures Forbes service standards are implemented, team members are trained in 5-star service standards and all team members under supervision are in compliance in meeting expectations.

```- Responsible for employee compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Initiate disciplinary action when appropriate.- Interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests, staff and community members.- Respond in courteous, professional and rapid manner in order to resolve all guest and staff difficulties.- Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of standardized intellectual and practical problems in order to perform and direct many varied and complex tasks.- Supervise, direct, coordinate, influence and persuade staff in order to maintain service standards of hotel.- Interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions, particularly interaction with supervisor, subordinates, co-workers, and guests in completing assignments, resolving staff and guest complaints.- Interpret and comply with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form.- Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.- Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area and ensure safety and cleanliness in all areas of departmental responsibility.- Perform all other duties as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct responsibility for supervising Rooms and Food and Beverage leaders, Spa Director, and Waterfront Captain.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of ten years hotel experience with at least five years experience at the executive level in a luxury brand,Independent hotel background in a resort destination is also strongly preferred.College / University degree preferred.Excellent knowledge and experience with hotel operating systems such as Opera, Resort Suites, K owcross or similar.Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidaysProven background of guest service excellence and effective financials.Must be able to read, write, and type in English.About the Inn at Perry Cabin
