　　Seeking a Research Technician for our client - the birthplace for countless breakthroughs and dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine.

　　Location : Philadelphia, PA

　　Shift: 1 st shift Monday-Friday

　　Pay: $20-$21 per hour

　　Type: 6-month contract to hire

　　Responsibilities

　　Work with research groups to develop, implement, and perform Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) laboratory processes.

　　Assist in identification, research, optimization, and implementation of new processes that serve new applications or improve data quality or efficiency of sequencing pipelines.

　　Qualifications

　　BS Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field.

　　6 months - 1 year of industry experience, preferably in microbiology

　　Experience with pipetting

　　Strong attention to detail
