　　The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.

　　Job Summary

　　Work closely with and assist Supplier Quality Engineers on various engineering assignments related to Supplier performance. This includes providing oversight of suppliers and executing proactive/reactive actions to improve the quality of the products/services provided to DRS.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the Company and also learn new skills

　　Assist in the evaluation and disposition of non-conforming material

　　Assist in the analysis of supplier caused defects and resolving defects with the supplier

　　Assist in evaluating supplier corrective action responses

　　Gather and assemble data for engineers

　　May be required to help in research in a particular field

　　Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network

　　Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices

　　Assist in executing Supplier performance monitoring

　　Qualifications

　　High school diploma or GED

　　Currently enrolled Engineering student; preference for junior or senior level candidates

　　Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network

　　Must be diligent, hardworking, self starter, and quick to learn
