This position gives you the opportunity to assist higher level professional staff in analyzing and evaluating agency programs and/or projects in order to determine effectiveness, and to provide data for higher level planning, monitoring, and resource allocation. You will be working closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Director. Responsibilities include:Serving as Project Management for assigned projects from Executive DirectorCoordinating the 4-year plan for the Pennsylvania Department of AgingRepresenting the agency as the PA Link Coordinator for Lehigh and Northampton CountiesAssisting in the review and preparation of portions of Federal and State documentation to qualify for Federal and other fundingRepresenting the agency on various committees both internally and in the community as directed by Executive DirectorComposing articles for various newsletters, articles for print or on-line, program descriptions, and various other promotions of the agency and agency programsPresenting work product orally, in written memorandum, or in draft form as a part of narrative or statistical reportsProviding regular statistical reports and charts to the agency fiscal unitResponding to questions from inter- or intra- agency personnel or other related to the program or project under reviewReviewing policy or procedural issuances, periodicals, and other literature related to the agency's functioning for information on current and pending agency program developmentsEnsuring effective public relations while providing valuable information to the public about the agency's programs and services
Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of professional analytical work which involved procedures development or review, budget or systems analysis, statistical analysis, program analysis, or management methods; and a bachelor's degree; orA master's degree in public administration, social science, statistics, or business administration, or a closely related field; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:You must meet the .
