This position is responsible for performing a variety ofdevelopment and origination work in siting, land acquisition,interconnection coordination, stakeholder and public outreach andpartnership management for renewable facilities, battery energy storagesystems, and related balance of plant equipment. This is an excitingopportunity to be part of a collaboration with a project team focused onthe development of large- and small-scale utility renewable projects.This is a hybrid-remote position reporting to either the Madison, WI orCedar Rapids, IA office. Our preferred candidate will be in Madison, WI.Candidates must reside in Iowa or Wisconsin. What you will do *Provides guidance to the project team about evolving project andcommunity priorities that impact the sense of urgency for deliverablesand engagement with stakeholders and identifies opportunities tooptimize the project\'s integration into the community. * Serves as akey contributor to the renewable design and configuration of a wind,solar, or battery energy storage system (BESS) conceptual design,including existing or planned infrastructure, land parcel status, linearfacilities/routing, and physical layouts of equipment throughout theproject area to the point of interconnection. * Champions renewables insupport of corporate and project objectives and contributes to thevarious phases of renewables development, including initial customerorigination, early-stage siting and development assessment throughmid-stage conceptual layout, and preliminary engineering throughlate-stage development and permit approvals. * Presents alternativesand constructively influences the customer\'s decision-making; serves asa credible specialist in one or more development areas. * Manages risksassociated with key deliverables related to the projects, such asensuring compliance with relevant ordinances, successful permittingoutcomes, and general acceptance of the project. * Performs effectiverisk management that involves direct application of previous projectexperience and highly qualitative influence factors and continuouslyreassess the ability of risk factors to impact project objectives. *Coordinates and leads cross-functional teams that deal with complextechnical and project related topics. * Champions project goals andobjectives to assist with the efficient resolution of risks and issues.* Prioritizes renewable developer and supplier relationships. * Stayscurrent with project portfolios in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota andwith Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) business practicemanual influencing interconnection and other relevant generationresource requirements. * Anticipates customer needs and expectationsand delivers high-quality, innovative solutions. * Assists in managingproject budgets, including processes accruals, and communicatesanticipated changes in the budget.
