Job Description

　　Fully Remote / preferred EST coast, start time = 10am EST

　　Our client is looking for a Remote Software Engineer Lead, with excellent Backend experience, to join their Corporate Technology organization. This individual will be responsible for coding, updating, and modifying web pages and components. We are looking for someone who is a fast self - starter, who is easy to work with, comfortable working in a high paced environment and turns out accurate fast code. A self-sufficient problem solver who is motivated to find the right solution quickly. They will be expected to handle architectural and business issues, mentor junior engineers, review code, and be the right hand person for the manager, and be also hands on with coding. This is a new group that is growing within an enterprise company so we need someone who wants to be in a lead role and has exceptional communication skills to deal with the business. Project = Records Information Management System. A legal tool that is able to help search, execute, and process enterprise level documents.

　　Other responsibilities include:  

　　Implement clean code solutions for SPA web applications

　　Collaborate with technical lead and non-technical stakeholders to create technical requirements from business requirements

　　Meet technical needs pragmatically in an operationally sound way

　　Assist with the implementation of deployment pipelines using AWS infrastructure (as Code)

　　Quickly troubleshoot issues and remediate independently

　　Identify and communicate risks and key decisions upward in a timely manner

　　Estimate time requirements to deliver on capability requirements

　　Create architectural diagrams and documentation to support the system

　　Design, run, and monitor tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging

　　Collaborate with tech lead, project managers, business analysts, programmer analysts, and architects in conceptualizing and developing new software programs and applications.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　* Minimum 5-7+ years of work experience as a Software Engineer focused on Backend development

　　* Expertise in Typescript

　　* AWS CDK or at least CloudFormation

　　* Experience with AWS, Lambda, Aurora, S3, API Gateway

　　* Access layers, service layers, GitHub Actions

　　* Middleware experience with backend experience

　　* Agile environment, comfortable working on smaller teams in an enterprise environment

　　* Mentorship/team lead skills and experience

　　* Excellent communication, easy to work with, has the ability to collaborate with their peers * Full Stack experience with a strong backend background

　　* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices preferred null
