About Senior Salesforce Business Analyst

  Job Description

  A large university client is looking for a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join their team and work on a hybrid schedule 2-3 days a week onsite. Specifically, the team will be implementing Salesforce as a new CRM tool since they do not have one currently. The Senior Salesforce BA will come in at the tail end of the first phase of the CRM implementation. In February they will be going live with the first iteration of the basic functionality in Salesforce. This role will be relied upon to provide end user support and training, understand, and analyze business process and needs, and translate into system specifications. On a day to day, they will be initially focused on knowledge transfer and catching up on development from previous projects, providing end user support, troubleshooting issues, as well as working on the next phase of the project which consists of a 10 week discovery process. This person will be soliciting, gathering, and documenting information from various sources/stakeholders and breaking down high level information into detailed requirements for system enhancements/workflow improvements. They will be mapping functional business requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality, while engaging with developers, solution architects, and other members of the IT delivery team to ensure systems meet business needs. As Sr. Salesforce BA, they will also be ensuring the application follows UI/UX principles to make the application intuitive and promote user adoption. Lastly, they will be building reports and dashboards as needed, engage in testing cycles (UAT, Regression, and system), and prepare project specific documentation and deliverables (User stories, User Guides, Quick Reference Sheets, Train-the-Trainer, data dictionary, communication plan, test plans, etc.).

  Skills and Requirements

  * 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Sr. Business Analyst with end-to-end Salesforce or other cloud implementation.

  * Minimum 3 years working within all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle

  * Minimum 3 years experience with the Salesforce platform and/or custom Salesforce apps.

  * Must possess an active Salesforce System Administrator Certification (Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification, highly desirable).

  * Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.

  * Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details.

  * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint.

  * Bachelor's Degree in related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. * 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Sr. Business Analyst with end-to-end Salesforce or other cloud implementation.
