About This Job
As a Remittance Processor, you’ll be responsible for leading the daily processing of account receivables while meeting high standards for production and quality. Work Schedule
Sunday-Thursday, 7:30am – 4pm
Essential Functions
Must be able to meet department production and quality goals
Maintain a high degree of accuracy when performing tasks and research
Apply extraction, packaging, capture & customer rules while processing customer items
Assist in training of staff on specific job duties
Troubleshoot and escalate department processing/ production problems to supervisor/ manager
Able to work independently and reach processing goals without the oversight of a supervisor or Lead
Must be able to research and resolve customer issues timely
Apply customer rules to perform desk related duties including credit card processing, pulling rejected work, labeling processed work, responding to emails, and others
Pull and return customer online exceptions (rejects) within packaging deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong decision-making skills
Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity and repetitive hand movement
Ability to interpret and follow directions across multiple accounts
Motivated and organized self- starter with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Effectively communicate individual processing challenges to immediate lead/supervisor
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Basic ability to navigate computer systems effectively
Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
For Scanner and Mailroom positions the ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand up to 8 hours
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
1+ years data entry or related experience in production environment required

At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly range is $16.50.
