The Reliability Engineer plays a key role in the lifecycle of our products in determining the reliability of components, equipment, processes, and managing/reducing asset reliability risks. Moreover, the ideal candidate will be an integral member in supporting continuous improvement initiatives across-functionally ideal candidate will have fresh ideas and a unique viewpoint to develop real-world solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
Produce and implement site reliability policies for all equipment and systems, ensuring all planned routines are correctly specified and critical spares are available to all the maintenance team to effectively complete tasks. Routinely access and query the CMMS to create work orders, inventory management of spare parts, assign parts, and maintain tracking of PM and CM activities. Plan preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment by way of working closely with the production scheduler. Serve as the site lead for all engineering root cause analysis and implementation of long-term engineering solutions to prevent reoccurrences, manage KPI's including Run Hours, Mean Time Between Failure (MBTF,) and cost to repair of equipment and systems. Work with engineers to implement technical standards assuming all assets remain fully compliant with cGMP standards. Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating equipment reliability and design improvements to meet its intended or existing service conditions. Meet the site target of zero overdue compliance actions in terms of quality and documentation updates. Fluency to reach machine drawings and diagnose the problem, PLC programming, and diagnosis. Interface with all levels of leadership, Operations, and SMEs across the organization. Collaborates, strategizes, serves as a key stakeholder in the development and implementation of operational reliability programs and projects including upgrades, retrofits, spare part analysis, SOP creation/updates, and maintenance repair procedures. Researches and proposes maintenance and reliability best practices that are based upon proven industry standards. Participate in customer and regulatory audits as required. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedure ,and rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Required education and experience:Associate degree in a related field.2+ years' experience in an Engineering or Maintenance support role.Practical "hands-on" maintenance, repair, and inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of engineering principles, standards, methods, and practices.Basic Mathematical SkillsAdvanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs. Advanced Excel experience is a must.Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately n all levels pertinent to professional needs.Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.Other Required Skills.Preferred education and experience:Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, mathematics, or related discipline.Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)Knowledge of general industrial production equipment.Experience with pharmaceutical packaging equipment such as blister, pouch, bottle, and bio machinery.Knowledge in predictive analysis and predictive maintenance.
