WORK SCHEDULE
40 hours per week, Day Shift POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Under direction of the Manager of Program Operations for UW Medicine Public Safety and Security, independently perform complex troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, installation, and testing activities for Harborview physical security systems.

Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are First PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, directs, and evaluates the daily operations of Harborview Security Services' Physical Security infrastructure including but not limited to access control systems, CCTV systems, and case report user management
Access control system functions, including badge access privileges for restricted areas, bio-metric and fingerprint enrollment, programming new card readers into the system, and creating proper clearance codes
Work directly with in-house and contracted vendors to troubleshoot and test reported issues; serve as the main point of contact for all access control related issues on a 24/7 basis
Ensures proper use and functioning of physical security systems such as access control, two-way radios, and surveillance systems
Manages use of electronic reporting system; produce and maintain all data requests and retrieval from various stakeholders; ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements; ensures that all activities are documented and retained
Assist in law enforcement-related requests for imminent release of CCTV footage; assist in badge access queries for active investigations REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of experience as a Computer Maintenance Technician 2 OR five years of experience as a Computer Maintenance Technician OR equivalent education/experience.
