Responsibilities
Rehab Tech under the direction of the Market Director of Rehabilitation Services, performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care and routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN, Therapists, Exercise Physiologist, and Exercise Specialist. Provides assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting patients, cleaning functions, and select diagnostic tests. Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs to patients Displays professional, safe conduct in all interactions. Maintains positive working relationships with staff, other departments, physicians and peers. Displays conduct in support of CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial Mission & Vision. Will work inpatient care.
Qualifications
Education Level
High School Diploma/GED
Licensure/Certification
Required:
BLS certification (through an approved AHA program)
Preferred:
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) with Texas Dept. of Aging & Disability Services (TX-DADS)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively.
Proficient in using computers and standard software such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Experience
Preferred:
One (1) year previous experience in a rehabilitation department, critical care unit or health related field.

Pay Range
$11.41 - $15.69 /hour
